Llamabar Opened in Navy Yard

1 M Street, SE

From a press release:

Llamabar, a vibrant new café offering fresh, locally sourced, grass fed and organic delights, is thrilled to announce it’s opening this in the heart of DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood.

Llamabar is more than just a café—it’s a community hub where great food meets great connections. Visitors can look forward to a curated menu featuring mouthwatering sandwiches, crisp salads, energizing açaí bowls, refreshing smoothies, and rejuvenating cold-pressed juices, all crafted with locally sourced, organic ingredients to nourish the body and delight the palate. They also offer what some are calling the “viral” wagyu chopped cheese sandwich that’s a must try.

“At Llamabar, we’re passionate about creating a space that feels like home—a place where you can savor a delicious, wholesome meal, meet with friends, or find your next spark of inspiration,” said Wayne Johnson, owner of Llamabar as well as Saint Yves and Abigail nightclubs.

The café is designed to serve as a dynamic hub for both socializing and teleworking. With cozy seating, a welcoming atmosphere, and complimentary Wi-Fi, Llamabar invites freelancers, remote workers, and creatives alike to settle in, connect, and collaborate. Whether you’re brainstorming your next big idea or simply catching up with a friend over an açaí bowl, Llamabar is the perfect backdrop for meaningful moments.

Located in the thriving Navy Yard neighborhood, Llamabar is ideally situated to serve locals, professionals, and visitors exploring one of DC’s most exciting areas.

Join us this Saturday to celebrate community, creativity, and the launch of your new favorite neighborhood café.
