UPDATE from Johnny Pistolas PR:
“The main floor will be rebranded as Mi Pana, bringing a fresh new dining and nightlife concept to Adams Morgan.
• The second floor will remain Johnny Pistolas, continuing to serve its LA-inspired taqueria-style food, tequila bar, and nightlife atmosphere.
• The mezzanine will become the Riff Raff Room, an intimate speakeasy-style cocktail lounge featuring Schotts’ award-winning cocktails and elevated tapas.
• The top floor will stay a dedicated party and event space, preserving Johnny Pistolas’ long-standing reputation for nightlife and private events in Adams Morgan.
• On September 19th, we’ll launch the new concept with live entertainment, a champagne toast, and a performance by Mi Pana.”
Johnny Pistolas opened in the old Tom Tom space back in 2014.

“Johnny Pistolas, Adams Morgan’s fixture for tacos and tequila since 2014, transforms this fall into a Latin gastro pub (Mi Pana) with a speakeasy-style cocktail bar (Riff Raff Room).
The top floor will remain a dedicated party and event space, and Johnny Pistolas will remain open to the public throughout the renovation.”
